About us

Rugsley is a Melbourne glass-art studio at 18 Dawson St, Brunswick, 3056, VIC, Australia. You can reach us at hello@rugsley.studio.

The artworks

Each piece is a one-of-a-kind, handmade original. Photographs are representative, and small variations in colour, finish and dimensions are a natural part of handmade glass.

Because pieces are one-of-a-kind, an item may sell or be reserved while you browse. If something becomes unavailable after you order, we will let you know and refund you in full.

Prices

Prices are shown in Australian dollars (AUD). [If we are registered for GST, prices include GST where it applies.]

We may change prices at any time, but not for an order we have already accepted.

Orders and acceptance

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A sale is formed when we accept your order and your payment is confirmed.

We may decline or cancel an order (for example if an item is no longer available or we suspect fraud); if we do, we refund any payment in full.

Payment and delivery

Payments are processed securely by Stripe. See our Payment Policy. Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy.

Your consumer guarantees

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including that they match their description and are of acceptable quality.

For a major failure you may choose a refund or a replacement; for a minor failure we will repair or replace the item. Where a guarantee is not met, we cover the reasonable cost of returning the work.

[Change of mind: original artworks are generally not returnable for change of mind. If we choose to accept a change-of-mind return, it must be unused and undamaged, requested within 14 days of delivery, and the return postage is at your cost. Confirm the studio’s preferred terms.]

Intellectual property

The artist retains copyright in the artworks and in all images, text and design on this site.

Buying a physical artwork does not transfer copyright. You may not reproduce, make prints of, or commercially exploit the imagery without our written permission.

Acceptable use

Please use the site lawfully. Do not scrape it for resale, interfere with its operation, or attempt to gain unauthorised access.

Liability

We do not exclude any rights or guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for any other claim connected with the site or an artwork is limited to the price you paid for that artwork.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that state.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version that applied when you placed your order governs that order.
