Inspired by memories of my dads glass factory, this work recalls a concrete workshop wall layered with pin-ups (pre 2008), profanities, jokes and handwritten messages from workers over many years. As a kid, i would scan the surface searching for new details each visit. Most of the imagery has disappeared with time, but one phase remains. “Get back to work.”
